Poem A Day: I’m Looking for a Magic Button

I’m looking for a magic button,
One that makes everything alright,
I think it might be south of Sutton,
Though I cannot find the light.
The button now it must be found,
Unlike Staples says it isn’t easy,
Twisting and turning and looking around,
Down aisles and aisles that make me feel quite queasy.
The sickness there is in my head,
Like a demonic smiling clown,
It’s only desire to see me dead,
To turn my lips in a perpetual frown.
The darkness desires to find a gun,
I only want to see the sun.

So, I’m really considering challenging myself to writing a poem a day for a month straight. Maybe at some point they won’t all be depressing XD
