Poem a Day: Osiris

Now he looks through wicked eyes,
Watching clouds wicker and writhe,
Filling their hearts with empty lies,
And all must now pay his tithe.
***
And thus he rises the wickedest son,
Making the earth quiver and heave,
His power would have life undone,
If only Isis gave him leave.
***
His heart is black,
His flesh is falling from the bone,
His mind is tortured upon the rack,
His life is forever spent alone.
***
And now the earth, it must pay,
For the life he gave away.

***Notes from the Author***
This is one of my favorites thus far. It’s only halfway based on Egyptian mythology though. It’s main inspiration comes from one of my Cupcake’s stories. It’s an awesome story thus far, and I’ll keep pushing her till she gets it finished. Well, I won’t push too hard, but I’ll do the best I can to get her to finish it and publish it. It’s one of those stories that really needs to be shared with the world.
